Train Journey!!!- A joy ride with your infant

Hello Again... If you are reading this blog, then let me wish you luck for your upcoming journey. Like every Mom I was terrified by the idea of traveling with my 1.5 month old daughter to visit my parents. After a lot of deliberation, I had decided to opt for  a train journey instead of flight. Now, the only thing that made me choose train over flight is the thought of check in and security process and I wasn't sure if I would be able to handle the baby in the long lines. Of course, if you are traveling by train that won't be the problem. Someone can accompany you till your berth and you can settle down with ease. And also you can carry as much luggage as you want. Trust me with an infant, its like taking the entire nursery with you, each time you travel. From her diaper bag, sleeping pad, clothes, feeding pillow etc. the list goes on. So it was easy for me  to travel by train. I had booked my seat in the first class of Rajdhani and it was a day journey. I would re...

My Famous 5 - Products I love for my baby!!

Image
Helloo Gorgeous, I am super excited to be sharing my experience of trying different baby products and eventually discovering the Famous Five of my life!! While I am busy writing this blog, I can hear sounds of fire crackers being lit, so I wish you all a very Happy and Prosporous Diwali. Couldn't resist!! Let me start from the very beginning of this journey and the discovery of Famous Five. Number 1: The "COZY CRIB" Like most new Mom's I really wanted to get a cradle for my daughter, just like my mom had, when I was a baby. But what I was not aware was the fact that once your baby gets used to the cradle, it is very difficult to let your baby sleep one. I had seen parents carrying it even in trains for overnight journeys, at a friend's place for a night out, or if you are out on a vacation you would still need one. The very first night at the hospital, my daughter was placed in a secure crib and she slept the entire night. So why not follow the same...

Infant photo shoot!!

Hellooo Sweethearts, I hope you all are having a lovely day. I am writing this blog, to encourage new mom's to get out there and have cute baby pictures taken 😍. Trust me it's all worth it. While I was pregnant , I would follow all the cute baby pages on Instagram and Pinterest and would dream of having such beautiful ❤️ pictures taken of my new born. What I missed from all those blogs is the preparation and hard work that goes behind the curtain. Obviously getting your new born ready to experience something new from his usual cozy environment , which will eventually be the most cherished memory is not an easy task. I hope reading this blog give you little tips on how to go about it will be useful when you actually get to that stage. Some important factors to consider are: Time frame:    My daughter was less than 2 months old when I decided to get her shoot done. We drove  her to the  studio during her nap time. Since she was very little we got bea...

Day trip with your baby!!!- Strolling around

Image
Baby's day out.. A simple task of taking your baby on a day trip like a club or resort could be stressful 😂. Allow me to let you in on a little secret 😏 that babies love a day out, just like you and me. To all the lovely ladies out there, who are planning to take a break during this festive season, I would like to share my experience and encourage you all to just let go and soak some sun.. You must be thinking how does it work and how will you manage feeding , cleaning and keeping the baby happy and also get some time for yourself . Well it's simple. 1). Carry the essentials only - sometimes we get so overboard with baby packing, it's like carrying the entire nursery with you . But babies do not actually need all the stuff. Just few diapers, wet wipes (mother care or Mimi) , changing mat, mosquito patch( mama earth),  a fresh jumpsuit( I prefer jumpsuit any day for my daughter) and small handy napkins. If you are not breastfeeding then formula. That's lite...

Happy baby - How to manage baby emotions

Image
Hello LADIES...... I am a mother of three and half month old beautiful baby girl and one thing that makes my day is all the baby smiles I receive throughout the day. Well, I am defintely blessed with a happy baby but then I would also love to share my experience and give you little tips on how to ensure your baby has the best day and night routine. Birthing itslef is an overwhelming experience and with all the new emotions it is definitely challenging to take over newer responsibilties. It takes time to process in the fact that you are already a care giver and a whole new life is dependent on you. Let me be honest, the journey is not easy, but that does not mean it is not enojyable. I would like to use this platform to share my experience with you all and may be while you laugh and cry like I do, you may like what I have to say. I would like to describe th we first week as the Owl's Week. Nothing can actually prepare you for what is going to happen in the first ...

Hospital Bag-baby products review

Well, hello dear, if you are reading this blog then I would like to congratulate you for you are about to enter the most beautiful phase of your life. Now, as your due date approaches and the anxiety begins a lot of you might be wondering what should you carry to the Hospital and how to plan your stay. I am a Mom of a two months old daughter and I have undergone similar dilemma. With my own experience and a lot of research I have complied this list. 1) 3 front open dresses - assuming you have to stay for a minimum of three days in case of normal delivery and more in case of a C - Section. The dress can have  either front buttons or Zip opening. I got pure cotton material from a regular store and got it stitched. Also there are many brands that offer maternity wear, but if you are really not into it, a simple night gown from your usual lingerie store will be extremely comfortable and will do the trick. 2) 4 maternity bras- Ensure that the Bra size in cup and band is one si...
